To Pouzza And Back: Ex Friends Tour Diary: Part Three

Joel continues his tour diary for The Punk Archive...

I just woke up and we are on a crazy tight schedule today so, briefly, here is a list of things that I did yesterday that I do not normally, or ever, do:

1. Fed sheep
2. Held a baby lamb
3. Played soccer
4. Rode a bike
5. Operated a satellite diesel pump
6. Watched a Canadian immigration official geek out when we told him the Mad Caddies were playing Pouzza Fest.
7. Saw the Mad Caddies looking very unhappy when we walked into the waiting room of the same border station.
8. Left the same border station while the Mad Caddies were still sitting there.
9. Realized the hotel we had booked for the night was actually a YWCA and nowhere near any of the venues.
10.Played to a not particularly full but very enthusiastic crowd at the Saint Catherine Theater at the same time Christie Front Drive, The Flatliners and 7 Seconds were playing a few blocks away.
11. Spent over an hour at a US border station while some very bored federal employees interrogated a friend of ours from Germany as if he was some kind of faceless super spy from a Frederick Forsyth novel and not just a nice guy who likes punk music and has committed the massive crime of having friends in multiple countries. Seriously, there is nothing sadder than watching middle aged pseudo-cops try to play Jack Bauer on a reasonable, law-abiding human. Your tax dollars at work! Well, if you're reading this you are probably British, so, um, my tax dollars at work, I guess. Your tax dollars go to funding comprehensive free health care, or something.
12. Slept for a few hours.

Albany today! Then home for a few days!
