Following the release of their début record, You'll Find A Way back in early May, we had a quick catch-up with Bristol quintet Out For Tomorrow...
The Punk Archive: Introduce yourselves to our readers?
Out For Tomorrow: Hey, Ben, Jack, Ashley, Lee and Benji, we're Out For Tomorrow!
The Punk Archive: How would you describe your sound to people who've not heard you before?
Out For Tomorrow: We're a rock band with a poppy catchy edge.
The Punk Archive: You've played big shows with Deaf Havana and Lower Than Atlantis in the past. How was that for you?
Out For Tomorrow: It was awesome. We're all big fans of Deaf Havana and LTA so to share a stage with them was incredible. They were all really nice guys as well.
The Punk Archive: What was it like having Lee from BMTH approach you to work on new material? How has working with him been?
Out For Tomorrow: We jumped at the chance to work with Lee and Phil [Gornell, Steel City Studios' owner], we went to the Steel City studios to record and work on some demos that made the album. We learnt a lot from the experience, and they were a good laugh and fun to work with.
The Punk Archive: What does the rest of 2014 bring for you?
Out For Tomorrow: We're back writing now, we plan to head to the studio in October to record some new songs, but you can catch us on tour around the UK in September!
The Punk Archive: How would you describe your latest album?
Out For Tomorrow: I'd totally say the album is something different from previous releases, but people who have listened to our band from the start will relate to the sound of the album. We stepped out of our comfort zone on a few of the tracks and tried something new.
