We asked Jamie Jazz from London dance-punks Bleach Blood to choose his top ten bands to see at Camden Rocks...
1. Slaves
Slaves are the best punk band in the UK bar no one. Fact. The chance to see them play in a such a tiny room? It's gonna be the stuff of legend, the type of show that in years to come everyone will claim they were at. Make sure you're one of the people who can turn around and say "I was there".
2. Sam Duckworth
There really isn't much I can say about Sam Duckworth that his ridiculously great songs and career don't already say. The man is a legend, wrestling fan and still the sharpest dressed human being to grace the stage with a laptop and an acoustic guitar.
3. Apologies, I Have None.
You guys all know me. If you follow twitter (@holyfucked if you don't) then you're probably sick about how much I talk about this band. AIHN are my favourites, go see them and make them your favourites too.
4. Sonic Boom Six
For longer than I can remember SB6 have been flying the flag mashing up genres and bouncy offbeat madness. Go watch them, try to not dance. I dare you. Punk.
5. Saint Agnes
Are without a doubt the most beautiful band I've ever seen. If I could I'd marry Jon and Kitty... but I can't (I did ask, but they were like 'Dude... that would be creepy'... YOU'RE BOTH WRONG IT WOULD BE WONDERFUL)....Wait.... what am I talking about?
6. The HELL
...You dick.
7. The One Hundred
...are a band that mix actual grime skills, with electronics and heavy guitars and don't suck. Don't believe me? Go see them for yourself.
8. Death Koolaid
I'm not even sure how to describe DK, other than... they're pretty scary looking, They'll be the weirdest thing you'll see at 12pm...that I can vouch for.
9. Crazy Arm
Heavy drinkers. Amazing players. One of the best live bands I've EVER seen. Amazing humans making amazing music.
10. Bleach Blood
We rule. Never drool. Come see us at 7pm at The Monarch. HOMIE.
Bleach Blood play The Monarch at 19:00 at Camden Rocks Festival. Head to http://camdenrocksfestival.com/ for tickets and information.
